Thanks for your time Diesel Recordings!

What Are Some Words You Would Use To Describe This Year?

For Diesel Recordings it’s been a great year, we have showcased so much new talent and music on
the label and made so many new friends, overall 2019 has been a very good year for Breakbeat.
What Have Been Some Of The Highlights For The Label?
It is hard to pick just one highlight as we have had so many this year. We will keep working on
releasing top quality music and expanding our team. Having this great team of producers and DJs
working with our label is one of best things that has happened to us.

What’s In Store For 2020?

More amazing new music. We have some outstanding releases waiting to drop in 2020, a few albums
and hopefully our first event. We will continue to give the world incredible new music every week.

What Made You Decide To Create Record Label?

We just love music a lot, breaks especially. Between us we play regular shows on NSB Radio and
already had a label so we thought it would be a great idea to expand our music collection. We work
with a fantastic team of producers (some of them we knew before we launched Diesel Recordings)
and we thought it would be great to show them some more support by playing and releasing their
tracks. Running a label is time consuming but we love being busy like that.

How Did You Come Up With The Name?

This is a funny story. We wanted to launch a label releasing powerful, quality music. There were a few
names we put into the pot, but we really like .... Diesel sneakers, hence, Diesel Recordings. Diesel to
us = comfort and power/raw energy and this is what we want on our label; we want our producers to
feel comfortable and to always be open with us.
We hope our artists are happy with our cooperation and we have no doubts that our releases are
powerful and energetic!

What Was The First Album That You Ever Bought?

Bassica's first albums was Iron Maiden & The Doors and Bobalino's first album was Beat Street OST
and the early Electro's on tape (Now I sound really old !!!!).

What Album Are You Most Proud Of In Your Label?

Feel free to ask us this question next year. We are planning on releasing a few albums in 2020.
We released a great compilation in 2019 that had a few producers collaborating on tracks and the
outcome was refreshing and forward thinking.

We want to thank Alt-A, Prato, Mariion Christiian, Entheogen (Boundless Frequencies), Kayshan, A-
Sekond, Rage King, DRKWTR, Stromlinie and Nikola for their work. You guys rock!

In Your Years In The Music Business, What Is The Best Thing About Being Involved With It
And The Worst?

Best thing in the music business is getting to hear brand new music every week.
Being in this scene really connects people from around the world and it's a beautiful feeling to know
so many people who are on the same wavelength in life and music.
The good stuff outweighs all the little glitches that come with running a label.

What’s Your Most Memorable Experience Inside The Label?

The most memorable experience was launching Diesel Recordings. We experience new and exciting
things every day. We are constantly learning and thinking how to push the label forward.
We are excited about our team, our supporters, our tracks, the feedback we get; our dream is coming
true and we are so grateful and humble, and this is something we will never forget, thank you.

What Does Your Day-To-Day Look Like?

When we are not running the label, we have regular day jobs...boring huh? but it pays the bills.
We get up, have a shower, have a cup of coffee, check emails, talk to producers and DJs, listen to
demos, keep an eye on deadlines, releases, mastering, promotion and million other things and then
we get on with our regular jobs.
Running a label takes a lot of time & effort but it is a great experience and very much worth it, as long
as it's fun and we love what we do then we will always be happy. We like our regular jobs and we love
running the label, Lucky us! We also have various hobbies; we like long walks on the beach, dj'ing,
making music, travelling, socialising and of course partying.

When Looking Into Potential New Artists To Sign, What Are Some Of The Qualities That You
Find Exciting?

We don’t just release music for ourselves, we always think about our followers when signing a new
artist. Diesel Recordings has a very experienced team of producers, so it is easy to sign their tracks
as they never disappoint with their productions. We also encourage new and upcoming artists; the
door is always open to new producers. We release various styles of Breakbeat so if there is a spark in
the track, we will sign it or if we hear some great potential in a new artist, then we will help them in
any way we can.
Sometimes it is also the personality; openminded, reliable and hardworking producers will always be
part of the Diesel family.

Do You Have Any Advice To Offer Up To Incoming Artists/Djs/Bands?

Make the music you love, don't try to emulate others, it's ok to find inspiration from others but try to
find your own style and don't be scared to take risks, if you take more risks you will stand out from the
crowd.

Is There Anything Else That You Would Like To Share With Our Readers About The Records?

We would like to thank all our producers, Djs, followers, sharers, and buyers who keep us going with
their continued support.
We love you guys; thank you for making our dream come true! We promise to go to the next level in
2020 and spoil you with much more amazing music.

Thank you, BBS Awards, for having us.
Peace, Much Love & Beats .
